Goa is located on India’s western coast in Konkon coastal belt so it is Known as “The land of beaches”. Goa shares borders with Maharashtra in the north and Karnataka in south and east. On its west side, Arabian Sea forms spectacular coastline. The rivers Mandovi, Terekhol (Tiracol), Talpona, Chapora, Zuari, and Sal weave their way through Goa and play a vital role in Goa commerce.
